Digambaridevi +2 science Residential college,affilated to CHSE,odisha and all recognized by the Govt. of odisha in the department of higher education,has been a pioneer institution in realizing the dreans of aspirants since its inception in 2012.Situated in the middle of Jaleswar town.
Well-equipped and air-conditioned class rooms along with well furnished laboratories equipped with sophisticated instruments are provided to the students for quality teaching.
Books are the store house of knowledge.The college possesses a well-stocked library so as to cater to the intellectual need of the inquisitive students.Journals,Periodicals,news papers both English and odia are also available in readind room.
As it is a residential college,it is needless to say that accommodation for both boys and girls are provided with sophisticated amenities along with congenial atmosphere for study.
College arranges picnic and study tour every year for refreshment of the minds of the students to the places of scenic beauty and historical importance.
Weekly,monthly and quaterly tests are conducted to have the proper assessment of scholastic performance of the students.parents are informed the result of every test of their sons/daughters through sms and progress report cards.
Slow learners are are given priority for clearing their doubts along with interaction with the teachers of concerned subjects in the shape of remedical classes,extra classes and tutorial classes.
College publishes annual magazine entitled "THE DIGAMBARI" to recognize the literally potentiality and crativity of the students.
