Admission Procedure:

A candidate seeking admission into any of the affilated trades,has to obtain an admission form with prospectus,from the office on payment of prescribed fee i.e. 100/- and submit the filled up form with original certificate/photograph etc.within the stipulated date.Those who fulfil the eligibility criteria and selected on merit /first-come first-serve are asked to deposit the required fees,original documents,pass-port size photographs and undertaking etc.for admission into the selected trade.

Placement Cell/ Apprenticeship training:

This ITC has its own placement cell in charge of an ATO/placement officer,to assist/counsel the successful candidates for employement.That a part,passed out candidates are eligible to get apprenticeship training on merit basis through Apprentice Advisor set up by DTE & T,as per Zonal merit/vacancy position Compulsory Attendance of trainees. As per DGE & T norms,the minimum compulsory attendance for trainees to make them eligible for the all India Trade Test is 80% of the actual number of working days i.e. a candidate of two year course has to year course has to attend minimum 400 classes/days,out of approximately 500 working days.

For unauthorized absence of a trainee (for consecutive 7 days at a time,the trainee may be warned for the first ocassion) from the Institute,10 days,Without permission from the Principal or having no proper explanation for this absence,he will be treated as absconder,and the name of such absconder will be struck off from the first day of this absence.

Trades:

Starting 1-2 units of stenography(Eng.),now this ITC is functioning with Electrician,Fitter Trades.Following table indicates the sanctioned seat of different trades and eligibility for admission into any of the trades.

Documents Required For Admission:

At the time of admission,along with required fees,original SLC/CLC/TC,Board Certificate/Provisional Board Mark Sheet and 6 Nos. of attested passport size photographs have to be submitted.Migration certificate in case of candidates passed from other than Board Of Secondary Education,Odisha shall have to be submitted.If anyone requires his/her original Certificate within the academic session he/she has to pay full dues.
